Episode 5
Jeff at his Franklin, TN home taking us through his creative process

A native of Franklin, Tennessee, Jeff was raised on a horse farm and grew with a connectedness to nature and a mind for solving complex problems. Prophetik was born from a decision to combine his love for his surroundings with his artistic desires.

Follow Jeff as he takes us into his world of design, celebrity and couture fashion. Chart a course from the crystal coasts of Malibu, California where we explore Garner’s creative process to the rolling hills of Tennessee where we walk the rows of wildflowers used to create the plant-based dyes that colors his work. Along the way he opens up about the things that have influenced him—family tragedy, the rawness of nature, the demands of craft.

Our experiences culminate in a trip to Lisbon, Portugal where he debuts his “Atlantico” collection at the US Embassy as part of a celebration of the collaboration with Madeiran lace-makers to help save a dying trade. In this episode, style meets substance, sustainability and showcases one man’s mission to make fashion eco-friendly once again.

Fashion is sold on beauty, the fabric, the color, the touch, the model...the sex appeal. Whereas, little emphasis is placed on how and from what the fashion is made.
